<p>Principal Function: The Concessions worker's main responsibility is to assist in serving, preparing, cleaning, and running of food services.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, expedite, and deliver all food orders. </li><li>Handle cash transactions and make proper change. </li><li>Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and clean up procedures. </li><li>Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation. </li><li>End of day cleanup to include stocking, sweeping, mopping, equipment cleaning, dishwashing, trash disposal and other duties as assigned. </li><li>Setup special events including moving equipment, tables, and chairs and other duties as assigned. </li><li>Adhere to Conner Prairie's rules of conduct. </li><li>Strive to ensure guest satisfaction by representing Conner Prairie with pride and enthusiasm. </li></ul> <p>Requirements and Conditions:</p> <p>Previous hospitality and/or food service experience a plus, but not required - training provided</p> <ul> <li>Dependable, strong work ethic and team player. </li><li>Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communications skills. </li><li>Ability to follow and adhere to instructions. </li><li>Work in an organized and sanitary fashion, safely and efficiently with attention to detail. </li><li>Must be able to work flexible schedules during the hours of 8:00 am to 8 pm, weekdays and weekends plus some holidays. Individual schedules based on candidate's availability. </li><li>Must be able to work special events that may occur during AM and PM hours, weekdays or weekends. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.</p> <p>Conner Prairie is generally open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, this position will be required to work beyond these hours and when open for special events.</p>
