The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist with patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the dental clinic.</p> <p>Expected Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare patients for dental procedures and take their dental records and vitals </li><li>Assist dentists with all dental procedures utilizing fourhanded dentistry. </li><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment </li><li>Provide patients with instructions for oral care and post-treatment procedures </li><li>Expose and develop dental radiographs and take impressions and pour dental models </li><li>Provide routine operational support such as tracking lab work, maintaining supplies in operatories, laundering staff scrub jackets and other duties as needed </li><li>Return patient phone calls, phone in prescriptions and schedule patient appointments </li></ul> <p>Why UCFS?</p> <p>Our team is passionate about the services we provide and is committed to making a difference for our clients and community.
