Reports work accomplishments to same.</p> <p>Supervision Exercised: None.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions: Regular and punctual attendance; assists in the implementation of a recreational/cultural youth program for youth ages 6-12 years of age; carries out Youth Services policies and procedures and ensures members demonstrate appropriate behaviors; practices positive role model behavior. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, or airborne particles.</p> <p>Performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge and its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercise of independent judgment.</p> <p>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with high school level classes and two years experience working with young children; desire and ability to work with at-risk youth must be evident; ability to work with diverse populations, perform a variety of tasks at a given time; ability to maintain positive role model behavior at the Youth Services Bureau and in the general public.</p> <p>Experience & Education: Experience can be in the area of recreation or day camps. Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
