This role will focus on strengthening the existing sales culture while driving growth and managing an established book of business. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in sales leadership, with success in high-value, solution-based (intangible/service) sales, and understands how to align sales and operations to deliver a winning service culture.</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of five (5) years of proven outside sales experience selling commercial service offerings and/or solutions, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical HVAC maintenance, repair, replacement</p> </li><li> <p>Controls, building automation systems (BAS)</p> </li><li> <p>Energy services or related technical facility solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading or mentoring sales professionals in a team environment</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to travel regionally (50-70% travel) across the Detroit-Pittsburgh-Columbus territory, especially during the first year</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience in facilities solutions sales management) </li><li>Experience leading sales teams focused on service agreements, maintenance contracts, or retrofit solutions </li><li>Strong partnership experience with operations, service managers, and field teams </li><li>"Player-coach" leadership style with the ability to both lead and actively support sales execution </li><li>Demonstrated success selling to commercial clients, including building owners and C-level stakeholders </li><li>Strong financial acumen and ability to articulate value through business case development </li><li>Proven track record of consistent high performance and goal attainment </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM) </li><li>Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers across the Detroit-Pittsburgh-Columbus territory </li><li>Own sales performance, including pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and accountability </li><li>Conduct regular ride-alongs, deal strategy sessions, and performance coaching </li><li>Execute sales strategies to drive profitability, growth, and market penetration </li><li>Develop and lead B2B sales efforts focused on new business development and account expansion, selling bundled facility solutions </li><li>Recruit, hire, train, and retain high performing outside sales representatives </li><li>Support and guide the team through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close </li><li>Partner with operations and branch leadership to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction </li><li>Assist in developing infrastructure solutions across lighting, electrical, and maintenance offerings </li><li>Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales to drive results and enhance leadership effectiveness </li><li>Manage sales reporting, annual planning, and quarterly forecasting </li><li>Participate in customer meetings to help advance and close strategic opportunities </li><li>Support the team in building financial and lifecycle analyses to demonstrate customer value </li><li>Conduct weekly one-on-one performance reviews with team members </li></ul>
