<p>Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with verifiable driving experience to join our team as a Delivery Driver We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. More information about us can be found below or on our website at www.hugghall.com.</p> <p>ABOUT THE POSITION</p> <p>The Delivery Driver functions as part of the Delivery Department and is responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading various types of construction and material handling equipment from our branch locations to customer sites.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Load, Unload, and Transport small equipment to and from pre-determined locations with safety and compliance as your top priority </li><li>Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring all essential components are operational and proper load securement adhering to all DOT regulations. </li><li>Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members, sharing relevant information and reporting any issues promptly. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION/BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>SIGN ON BONUS and Safety Bonus Opportunities </li><li>Competitive Compensation </li><li>Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurances plus several supplemental benefits) </li><li>Generous PTO Plan </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>401k with company match </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 21 years of age </li><li>Valid CDL-Class A driver's license </li><li>2 years of verifiable driving experience </li><li>Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card </li><li>Safe driving record </li><li>Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety Regulations/DOT Guidelines </li><li>Ability to secure loads safely and securely </li><li>Ability to operate construction equipment </li><li>High school education or equivalent </li></ul> <p>SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Experience operating various construction and/or material-handling equipment </li><li>Effective verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision </li></ul> <p>RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE: Truck Driver, CDL-A Driver, OTR Driver</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS</p> <p>This position:</p> <ul> <li>will be outdoors traveling to numerous customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply. </li><li>will continuously be required to talk and hear; constantly required to sit, regularly required to stand, bend, squat and walk, frequently required to climb and crawl. </li><li>must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 128 lbs. </li></ul> <p>[This position is deemed a Safety Sensitive job for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and the Louisiana Therapeutic Marijuana Act.]</p> <p>ABOUT US:</p> <p>Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is a full-service equipment dealer headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, since 1956.
