They create lesson plans and well-rounded, comprehensive instructional programs.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop course content in relation to the Colorado Academic Standards </li><li>Plan, organize, and implement effective instructional strategies and lessons </li><li>Monitor and evaluate student progress </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues in department and building level administration </li><li>Develop individualized lessons and programs for students as needed </li><li>Communicate students' academic progress and needs with appropriate stakeholders </li><li>Administer, edit, proofread, and grade student work in a timely manner </li><li>Any and all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree with a teaching certification is preferred, but not required </li><li>Endorsement, certification, degree, passing PRAXIS score, or being highly qualified in area of instruction is preferred, but not required </li><li>Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License. The Weld Re-9 School District considers candidates pursuing alternative pathways to the classroom </li><li>Knowledgeable in areas of healthcare sciences, medical terminology, life sciences, nutrition, possibly biology/anatomy/physiology </li></ul> <p>Salary and Benefits:</p> <p>Salary range is $49,250-$67,450 per year AS OF THE TIME OF THIS POSTING depending on education, years of teaching experience, and professional development credits.
