This role focuses on empowering parents and caregivers of youth with mental health needs through peer support, education, and connection to resources.</p> <ul> <li>Provide peer-to-peer support and guidance to parents/caregivers based on shared lived experience </li><li>Help families navigate systems such as schools, mental health services, and community resources </li><li>Facilitate parent and caregiver support groups </li><li>Participate in outreach, trainings, and community collaborations </li><li>Support families in building confidence, advocacy skills, and self-determination </li><li>Maintain professional documentation and reporting as required by program standards </li><li>Collaborate with PIN staff and community partners to ensure coordinated, family-centered support </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Flexibility:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible, community-based schedule </li><li>Hours may vary week to week based on family and program needs </li><li>Includes a mix of daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours </li><li>Designed to meet families where they are-not limited to a traditional 9-5 schedule </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Required: Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with mental health needs </li><li>Required: Residency in Southeast Massachusetts </li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team </li><li>Passion for supporting families and strengthening communities </li><li>Comfort engaging with diverse families and systems </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Matters:</p> <p>As a Parent Coordinator, you will help families feel supported, understood, and empowered while navigating complex systems.
