Join our team and help us shape the future of hospitality in Newport.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Food and Beverage Attendant is key to a successful operation. ?This individual is responsible for supporting the service team by delivering memorable hospitality to our guests. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, it is your responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, Café, Pool or Banquets, working to keep the serving stations filled, clearing, and cleaning tables, and keeping the spaces clean. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Greet guests as they arrive or move about the F&B areas, bring them to their tables or show them where to go</p> <p>Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the server stations</p> <p>Assist the servers in maintaining clean available tables for arriving guests, take away old dishes, reset tables, sweep, mop, and other cleaning procedures</p> <p>Assist servers with continual service details</p> <p>Maintain the cleanliness of the food and beverage areas, including but not limited to; the restaurant, café, pool both FOH and BOH, banquet spaces, kitchen, dry storage and bars</p> <p>Be the master of the food and beverage outlets, understanding the details of the operations</p> <p>Work collaboratively with other food and beverage servers and kitchen/bar staff</p> <p>Serve guests, take orders, and provide excellent service in all outlets of the property</p> <p>Assist in the back of house by cleaning dishes, mopping, organizing as needed</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Positive team player </li><li>Serving experience preferred but not required. </li><li>Neat, pleasant personality and appearance at all times </li><li>Time management skills </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively </li><li>Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. </li><li>Proficient English reading, comprehension, speaking and understanding. </li><li>Ability to receive direction and perform responsibilities in a fast paced environment </li><li>Standing and constant moving for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift) </li><li>Lift, carry and position loads of at least 50lbs. </li><li>Strong basic math skills with the ability to operate a cash register or POS system </li><li>Must be available to work weekends and holidays. </li><li>Shifts and days of work will vary as needed by the business. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range</p> <p>The compensation for this position is $15.00/Hr. - $15.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.</p>
