<p>This position reports directly to the Head Football Coach, but also works in conjunction with Assistant Coaches and Offensive/Defensive Coordinators in various aspects of football game-planning, including scouting reports, game film analysis, analytics, and player personnel advising in order to ensure that the program is well prepared and informed to compete at the highest level.</p> <p>About the Work Unit</p> <p>Vanderbilt University's Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Organize scout cards and scripts for practice/walk-thru</p> </li><li> <p>Goal line study expert</p> </li><li> <p>Research and prepare scouting reports on opponents, including but not limited to depth chart, statistics, and analytics</p> </li><li> <p>Game day duties, including but not limited to play chart, analyzing and recording tendencies, and data input</p> </li><li> <p>Analytic responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>Opponent: prepare and present statistical data on opponents as directed</p> </li><li> <p>Self-Scout: Prepare and present statistical data regarding Vanderbilt offense and defense as directed</p> </li><li> <p>Playbook assembly and distribution</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the execution of unofficial and official recruiting visits as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the interest and image of the head football coach, the organization and Vanderbilt University</p> </li><li> <p>Fully comply with NCAA, AFCA, and SEC ethics and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Additional duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree is necessary. </li><li>A minimum of 1 year of experience is necessary. </li><li>Previous experience in Division I football is necessary. </li></ul>
