<p>Overview</p> <p>The Therapy Technician will be available to assist the Licensed Therapist with the unskilled care of all Therapy Patients, in-patient or out-patient and will be responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and organization of all therapy equipment and supplies.</p> <p>SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:</p> <p>This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>PRE-HIRE QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO INDEPENDENCE FROM PRECEPTOR:</p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers </li><li>Computer-Assisted Self-Directed New Employee Orientation </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF ORIENTATION:</p> <ul> <li>Successful demonstration of clinical equipment appropriate to department </li><li>Successful completion of orientation skills checklist </li><li>Attendance at New Employee Orientation classroom program (NEO Part 2) </li></ul> <p>POPULATION-SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF ORIENTATION, 90 DAYS EMPLOYMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Aggression Management Training </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO:</p> <p>Director of Therapy Services and/or supervisor of assigned department/location</p>
