<p>Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Wauwatosa, WI. This role manages OCI-based Windows/Linux administration and network operations, covering installation, patching, performance tuning, and VCN/load balancer configurations.</p> <p>Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Engineer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manages and scales OKE clusters by administering node pools, worker nodes, and monitoring node performance across OCI environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees pod lifecycle operations including creation, updates, deletion, and performance/log monitoring to maintain stable workloads.</p> </li><li> <p>Handles deployment operations such as creating, updating, rolling back deployments, and tracking deployment performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Enforces security and compliance by managing network policies, secrets, and RBAC configurations within OKE.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs version upgrades and patching of OKE clusters to apply security updates and maintain platform stability.</p> </li><li> <p>Integrates OKE with OCI services including OCIR, OCI Monitoring, and OCI Logging while utilizing tools like OCI Console, OCI CLI, kubectl, Prometheus, and Grafana.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.</p> </li><li> <p>8-10 years of experience as specified in the job description.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong hands-on expertise managing and maintaining OKE clusters, including node pools, deployments, pod operations, and security configurations (RBAC, network policies, secrets).</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with OCI services and tooling such as OCI Console, OCI CLI, Kubernetes CLI, OCIR, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring, integrations, and operational management.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
