<p>Job Location:</p> <p>Woodbury Common Premium Outlets</p> <p>PRIMARY PURPOSE:</p> <p>This position is accountable for painting all areas of the shopping center, inside & outside as directed by property management.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Apply paint, stain and other finishes to property walls, ceilings and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. </li><li>Apply primer or sealers to prepare new surface for finish coats. </li><li>Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire bonding or using water solvents. </li><li>Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs. </li><li>Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas. </li><li>Coordinate with management and/or supervisor in order to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish. </li><li>Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures ; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries, and complete safety training. </li><li>Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. </li><li>Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stepping. </li><li>Move up and down a ladder. </li><li>Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. </li><li>Perform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA standards) to promote a safe working environment </li><li>Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment and tools are maintained. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred. Technical School certifications and/or training preferred </li><li>Minimum 2-3 years painting experience </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts </li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to define problems, collect information and establish facts. </li><li>Self-starter with ability to work independently </li><li>Capability to diagnose problems on equipment </li><li>Knowledge of basic painting procedures </li><li>Knowledge of safety rules, hazards and application of accident prevention measures </li><li>Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds </li></ul>
