To learn more about Hexagon Agility, please visit our website at www.hexagonagility.com</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager.</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The Sr. Business Development Manager's responsible for overseeing the entire proposal and bidding process for national accounts, key customers, and municipal contracts nationwide. This includes identifying potential opportunities, developing winning strategies, coordinating with internal teams to gather information, preparing comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing the submission process to secure new parts and service contracts, all while adhering to strict deadlines, expectations, and revenue targets.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Connects with customers via phone and email, in addition to in-person site visits </li><li>Actively monitor and research upcoming bidding opportunities through government websites, publications, and industry networks or direct requests </li><li>Analyze request for bid / proposal (RFPs) opportunities and develop targeted bid strategies that align with the municipality's needs and company capabilities </li><li>Work closely with various internal teams like parts, service, sales, and legal to gather necessary information and ensure accurate bid / proposal submissions </li><li>Create comprehensive bids / proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, fulfillment, and compliance documentation </li><li>Ensure bids / proposals adhere to specific customer regulations, procurement guidelines, specifications, and mandatory compliance requirements </li><li>Collaborate with team to accurately calculate costs and pricing for bids / proposals </li><li>Identify potential risks associated with bids / proposals and develop mitigation strategies to address them </li><li>Review and finalize bid / proposal documents before submission to ensure accuracy and timely delivery </li><li>Analyze bid / proposal results, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate feedback into future bids / proposals </li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts and stakeholders, including procurement officers and decision-makers </li><li>Create parts and services agreements (LTA's) </li><li>Expected to travel up to 40% </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years' experience as a National Account or Municipal Bid Manager or similar role </li><li>Customer Service/Sales experience is a plus </li><li>Proficient in computer software and programs </li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and co-workers </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Experienced and proficient working with Concur, IFS, Freshdesk, Salesforce and Microsoft Teams </li><li>Strong understanding of municipal procurement processes </li><li>Project management skills </li><li>Ability to negotiate contract terms and pricing with potential clients </li><li>Proven experience in municipal bid management, preferably within the public sector </li><li>Proven success working with national accounts and key customers </li><li>Knowledge of relevant software applications for bid preparation and management </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
