<p>The Advanced Clinical Services Behavior Support Coordinator is a project staff position responsible for supporting the implementation and oversight of behavioral health services for preschool and school-aged students. Reporting to the Advanced Clinical Services Supervisor, the Coordinator will play a key role in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of clinical staff, including Personal Care Assistants, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Staffing Coordinators. The position involves managing behavioral support requests, including complex behavior cases, and coordinating staff assignment based on student and district needs. The Coordinator will ensure that all services are implemented in alignment with evidence-based practices, maintain oversight of the BCBA internship supervision process, and lead professional development initiatives to promote skill advancement and compliance with certification standards.</p> <p>Summary of the Position:</p> <p>The Coordinator will also oversee quality assurance, monitor outcome measures, ensure billing accuracy, and contribute to the development of a comprehensive system of behavioral supports across Chester County and neighboring districts. They will serve as a liaison to local education agencies (LEAs), helping to determine appropriate services and guiding implementation through clinical supervision and consultation. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, clinical expertise, and decision-making authority, particularly in the absence of the Supervisor. By combining technical, consultative, and implementation skills, the Coordinator ensures delivery of high-quality services and contributes to the continuous improvement of the Advanced Clinical Services program within the Student Services Division.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree with at least three (3) years post-Master's experience working in the field of special education, preferably within schools </li><li>Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing required </li><li>Ability to write student treatment plans, transition plans, and progress reports and submit accurate and timely billing information </li><li>Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances required </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Oversee BCBA/BCs services</p> <ul> <li>Manage the intake process and assignment of staff for behavioral support requests. </li><li>Discuss specific needs with administrators to determine the best level and type of support that is required. </li><li>Provide intensive supervision of staff including direct, on-site supervision of staff, monthly group supervision and quarterly individual supervision. </li><li>Evaluate completed reports quarterly per staff to ensure current evidence-based practices are being utilized. </li></ul> <p>Coordinate complex behavior cases</p> <ul> <li>Manage the intake process for referrals for complex behavioral assessments. </li><li>Discuss the case with LEAs to determine the best course of action to assist with the case. </li><li>Identify appropriate staff to conduct assessments and to provide consultative services. </li><li>Provide clinical supervision and guidance over the cases. </li></ul> <p>RBT certification and supervision</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate potential staff for RBT certification. </li><li>Oversee the RBT certification process for staff. </li><li>Coordinate resources to meet the RBT supervision requirements. </li></ul> <p>Oversee BCBA internship supervision</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate evidence-based practices to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive BCBA internship program. </li><li>Coordinate the assignment of BCBAs to support individual and group supervision. </li><li>Provide clinical support and training to BCBAs to improve skills as supervisors. </li></ul> <p>Staff training</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate the initial on-boarding training of direct care staff and ongoing professional development. </li></ul> <p>Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all staff comply with relevant regulations, certifications, and training requirements. </li></ul> <p>Quality assurance</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain quality assurance measures for each of the services to measure specific targeted outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and service quality. Implement improvements based on outcome data and feedback from stakeholders. </li><li>Oversees collection of outcome measures to ensure delivery of effective and high-quality services to students. </li></ul> <p>Billing</p> <ul> <li>Monitor mechanisms to ensure all services are accounted and billed for accurately. </li></ul> <p>SALARY RANGE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR:</p> <p>260 days per year, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week</p> <p>Project Staff, Step 16: $87,037-$108,796 annually, based upon years of experience in a similar role</p> <p>MS</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Chester County Intermediate Unit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
