<p>Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $12,500</p> <p>The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Ortho Unit (3RCE). The Ortho Unit is part of UI Health Care's Medical Surgical Services (MSS) division. 3RCE is a 48-bed adult orthopedic surgical unit. Unit staff provides care for patients who experience trauma, tumor removal, reconstructive joint surgery, spine surgery, hand surgery, foot surgery, amputations, sports injuries, skeletal traction, and wound care.</p> <p>In April 2023, our acute orthopedics unit (3 RCP) expanded to become a 48-bed adult surgical unit focusing on the care of orthopedics, trauma, and spine patients. Our staff is full of motivated individuals that are passionate about the quality of care they provide.</p> <p>The Orthopedics, Trauma, Spine believes it is our responsibility to provide patient centered care that will enable our patients and their families to cope with the physiological and psychological aspects of their illness or injury.
