<p>At the present time, a vacancy exists for an Academic Registration and Systems Specialist within the Brandywine Virtual Academy division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The Academic Registration and Systems Specialist manages all aspects of student registration, enrollment, and academic systems integration for Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA) and enrollment support for the CCIU Driver Education Program. This role ensures a seamless registration and scheduling process by coordinating with school administrators, student support staff, instructors, students, parents, and external partners. The specialist is the lead contact for, and troubleshooting all Learning Management System (LMS) integrations within the BVA Genius SIS Platform.</p> <p>Are you motivated to create brighter futures for students, families, and the entire community? At the CCIU, we pride ourselves on the creativity, dedication, and collaborative spirit that our employees bring to their work every day, and we know that achieving success together takes a team approach!</p> <p>If you are looking for an exciting, challenging opportunity to grow your career, don't wait - apply today to make Team CCIU even stronger tomorrow!</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree required. </li><li>3-5 years administrative experience in academic registration, student information systems or a related field </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain course setup in the registration system each quarter/semester. </li><li>Coordinate with administrators and staff to finalize course offerings. </li><li>Set up, test, and manage online registration and the overall registration calendar. </li><li>Collaborate with the business office to ensure accurate charge types/payment procedures </li><li>Troubleshoot registration, enrollment and accessibility issues promptly and efficiently. </li><li>Manage the student registration process and course enrollment for BVA </li><li>Identify and implement business process and system improvements. </li><li>Provide leadership in refining CCIU registration procedures. </li><li>Ensure smooth enrollment of students into courses, including communication with students, parents and districts. </li><li>Coordinates with Student Support Liaison and Operations Manager to create communication content to send to districts such as Welcome Letters and Program of Studies Addendums </li><li>Provide guidance for LMS integrations into the BVA Genius Platform. </li><li>Provide first tier training and support to internal and external users. </li><li>Create help desk tickets and communicate with vendors and 3rd parts sources to troubleshoot issues within the SIS and LMS </li><li>Provide end-user technical support for students, parents, and faculty. </li><li>Create new SIS and LMS user accounts and assign users to affiliations. </li><li>Assist with onboarding and training across multiple platforms. </li><li>Resolve student and course synchronization errors through SIS and LMS ticketing systems. </li><li>Research alternative solutions as needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate student enrollment and academic records. </li><li>Track and report enrollment data for budgetary and auditing purposes. </li><li>Manage the secure archiving of student and course data. </li><li>Approve vendor invoices and renew subscriptions. </li><li>Manage cancellations for retired courses, enrollments, and demo accounts. </li><li>Process and verify payments for private pay and driver education courses. </li><li>Inquire about course and content updates and relay information to Curriculum Supervisor and Online Learning Specialist </li><li>Ensure course descriptions and materials are updated across LMS and SIS platforms. </li><li>Manage course catalog updates in reference to availability and pricing for private pay enrollments. </li></ul> <p>SALARY:</p> <p>Project Staff, Band 13, Nonexempt</p> <p>$30.75-$38.43 hourly</p> <ul> <li>salary determined by years of experience in a similar role </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 7.5 hrs/day; 260 days/year</p> <p>AA</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer Chester County Intermediate Unit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
