<p>Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract with a client in Wauwatosa, WI. This role focuses on administering and managing VMware environments while supporting architecture, deployment, and migration activities across OC3 and OCI compute services.</p> <p>Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Network Administrator job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manages and administers VMware environments by handling architecture, deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees OC3 compute services including block volumes, boot volumes, custom images, and instance shapes across OCI environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Executes cloud operations using OCI Console and OCI CLI to maintain stable and optimized compute resources.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs end-to-end migration activities leveraging Rack Ware tooling, ensuring smooth and reliable workload movement.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports automation initiatives using Terraform and Ansible to streamline provisioning and infrastructure management.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with cloud, infrastructure, and migration teams to resolve issues and ensure successful VMware and OC3 platform operations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>8-10 years of experience as specified in the job description.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong hands-on expertise in VMware administration along with OC3 architecture, OCI Compute services, and migration tooling such as Rack Ware.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with automation using Terraform/Ansible and proficiency with OCI Console and OCI CLI for cloud operations.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
