<p>JOB TITLE: Manager, Software Engineering</p> <p>FLSA STATUS: Exempt</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Engineering</p> <p>REPORTS TO:</p> <p>JOB LOCATION: Remote (US Based)</p> <p>TRAVEL: 10%</p> <p>SUMMARY OF POSITION:</p> <p>The Software Engineering Manager will lead and manage a highly skilled product-focused Scrum Team, consisting of talented Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Documentation Specialists, and Support Engineers. This role is essential in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products for Enterprise Solutions.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage a product-focused team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and success. </li><li>Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of sprint work items. </li><li>Facilitate Scrum ceremonies when required, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. </li><li>Engage team members through 1-on-1 meetings to provide ongoing feedback. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to innovate and adopt SDLC best practices. </li><li>Monitor and report on sprint metrics and team KPIs. </li><li>Collaborate with Engineering Director to fulfill strategic corporate engineering objectives. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. </li><li>Proven experience in a leadership role or management, with the ability to inspire and motivate a remote/distributed team. </li><li>Strong background in software development with emphasis on building testable, enterprise-grade applications. </li><li>Solid understanding agile methodologies, particularly working with Scrum. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Proven analytical, problem solving and decision making skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage projects to defined timelines. </li></ul> <p>Technical Knowledge/Familiarity:</p> <ul> <li>CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) </li><li>Scrum (Jira, Azure DevOps) </li><li>Git-based repositories (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps) </li><li>TDD (Moq, XUnit) </li><li>C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework </li><li>Angular, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 </li><li>MSSQL, Azure Cosmos </li></ul>
