We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p> <p>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</p> <p>Short Description</p> <p>Patient Representative Liaison will round regularly on patients to assure that their needs are being addressed, and Aid as needed.</p> <ul> <li>To serve as an advocate and liaison to the patients of Cooper University Hospital. </li><li>To make patients, family & visitors feel welcome and informed. </li><li>To round regularly on patients to assure that their needs are being addressed and provide assistance as needed. </li><li>To follow-up on all issues identified. </li><li>To ensure that patient and family needs are being met by proactively offering assistance. </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Surgical Care Unit (SCU), Short Procedure Unit (SPU) Same Day Surgery (SDS) and Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) are in Camden at the hospital on the second, third and fifth floors. First Pre-Admission Testing, located in 3 Cooper calls to review a patient's health information prior to a surgical procedure. Once approval for the recommended surgical procedure is finalized and patient information is reviewed the patient is provided with information on when and where to report. Once arrived and registered the patient is escorted to the appropriate location to be prepped for surgical procedure. These RN's prep the patient for the procedure. They review medical history, medical procedures and place an IV. Patients are met by Anesthesia and their Surgeon. Once everything is reviewed and verified the patient then goes to the OR.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>5 years customer service experience, preferable in a health care setting. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred. </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ul> <li>1030A-9P Monday-Thursday </li><li>Bilingual a plus. </li><li>Analytical thinking/problem solver, open communication/good listening, professional manner, respectful, service commitment to customers, self-starter requiring limited supervision. </li><li>Excellent customer service, patient interaction and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Salary Min ($)</p> <p>USD $22.00</p> <p>Salary Max ($)</p> <p>USD $35.00</p>
