Seven Hills Rhode Island is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team! In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of our programs and services. From recruitment and employee relations to compliance and benefits administration, your work will help shape a positive, effective workplace that supports our mission.</p> <p>As an HR Generalist, you'll contribute to the success of our organization by ensuring that our employees are supported, engaged, and aligned with our core values and goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support HR Functions: Handle a variety of HR support functions, including data management, recruitment, and benefits administration.</p> </li><li> <p>Recruitment & Onboarding: Source and recruit talent for various positions, coordinate job fairs, community events, and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding.</p> </li><li> <p>Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations matters, including investigating complaints, handling disciplinary issues, and promoting positive employee interactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records for EEO, OSHA, and other compliance-related reports, ensuring adherence to regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Leave & Workers' Comp Administration: Assist with the administration of employee leave (FMLA, ADA) and workers' compensation claims.</p> </li><li> <p>Compensation & Benefits Management: Help administer employee compensation and benefits programs and answer employee questions during open enrollment.</p> </li><li> <p>Performance Management: Support performance evaluations, track employee development, and ensure compliance with job expectations.</p> </li><li> <p>Employee Engagement: Make site visits to program areas to assess employee satisfaction and provide guidance on HR-related matters.</p> </li><li> <p>Job Descriptions & Internships: Assist with creating job descriptions and coordinating internship programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Organizational Development: Promote continuous learning and help foster a positive, engaging work culture across the organization.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Qualifications:</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field).</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of HR-related experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license (Class C or D).</p> </li><li> <p>Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and compliance regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with compensation, benefits, and performance management.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to foster positive relationships across diverse groups.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).</p> </li></ul>
