<p>Description</p> <p>Assistant Resident Engineer will support the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure in NYC. Candidate will play a crucial role in informing the CM team by observing and reporting on construction activities, effectively coordinating and collaborating with project team members, and providing thorough documentation and inspection for various water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Review drawings, specs and work plans </li><li>Conduct on-site observation, monitoring, inspection and evaluation of construction </li><li>Observe contractor performance </li><li>Prepare daily reports, verify material quantities, time and material records </li><li>Maintain project redline </li><li>Coordinate with CM project teams and other teams </li><li>Assist with project start-up </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of construction/construction observation experience </li><li>Willing to travel throughout NYC metro area </li><li>Experience with municipal water and wastewater or similar industry construction inspection preferred </li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management </li><li>Professional Registration (P.E. or E.I.T) preferred, not required, CCM (Certified Construction Manager) also preferred but not required. </li><li>Experience in construction management, construction inspection, and stakeholder coordination preferred </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Bronx, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $170000.00/yr.</p> <p>We provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid life insurance, 401k employer contribution (after 1 year of service), performance bonus, comprehensive family medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave (after 1 year of service), employee assistance and wellness programs.
