<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The primary role of the Supply Planner is to develop a supply/production plan. Key driver in creating and managing the true supply/production signals to align supply chain and company resources. Tasked with using data insights to improve on-time delivery and inventory management. Hands-on worker who will drive the creation of a supply plan and work with other functional teams to develop a consensus plan for hand-off to the production team or issue purchase orders to suppliers.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>40% Analysis </li><li>Firming Orders for Plants or Suppliers on a weekly basis. </li><li>Reviewing Supply Plans for expedites/de-expedites. </li><li>20% Influence/Collaborate/Communicate </li><li>Collaboration with Suppliers/Plants on long-term capacity planning (PSI). </li><li>20% Reporting </li><li>Running reports utilizing Excel / publishing reports. </li><li>Investigating any results that are off target and consulting with others to complete analysis before publishing. </li><li>10% Process Improvement </li><li>Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. </li><li>10% Other / As Needed </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Profile</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in Supply Chain required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering/Operations/Supply Chain Management/Mathematics or equivalent experience required. </li><li>APICS Membership and Participation encouraged. </li><li>Certified CPIM, CFPIM, or CSCP desired. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of technology tools that enable demand and supply planning and reporting; exposure to MFG PRO/QAD, JDA, or SAP preferred. </li><li>Strong analytical abilities and advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot charts, VLOOKUP and experience with very large data sets. </li><li>Familiarity with MS PowerPoint. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Strong mathematical/statistical abilities. </li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Working conditions are normal for an office environment.</p> <p>Pay Range: $66,026-$96,838.</p> <p>This "base salary range" is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
