<p>Washington Trust is looking for a dynamic experienced Commercial Real Estate Lender with a focus on the Connecticut Market to join our CRE lending team. This position will become part of a collaborative, results oriented team focused on providing commercial real estate lending products and services to new and existing customers of The Washington Trust Company.</p> <p>We offer a hybrid work schedule with on-site work in our New Haven and Westerly, RI offices.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and service a growing commercial real estate loan portfolio by establishing and supporting a robust calling plan. </li><li>Maintain relationships with existing customers, prospects, and referral sources to achieve loan and deposit production goals while ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures and established standards. </li></ul> <p>Position requirements:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of commercial real estate lending experience with an established network of customers and referral sources to include construction and permanent loans </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate, knowledge in various real estate asset classes and market conditions </li><li>Possess superior credit, customer service and negotiation skills as well as having a strong general bank product and services knowledge </li><li>Experience building relationships through networking and proven high customer service standards </li><li>Strong business writing and professional communication skills required </li><li>Ability to work well within a team environment </li><li>Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field or relevant experience </li></ul>
