<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>GE Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our FLRAA program team. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of program scope that feeds into the overall FLRAA program, ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace's strategic objectives and customer requirements.</p> <p>This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to drive program success.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Own FLRAA Common Platform and Private Investment scope in the development and execution of program plans, schedules, and budgets. </li><li>Ensure program objectives are met in accordance with GE Aerospace's Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) priorities. </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, to achieve program milestones and deliverables. </li><li>Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations from the plan. </li><li>Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the program team. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements. </li><li>Manage internal and external customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for program-related matters. </li><li>Identify and mitigate program risks, developing contingency plans as necessary. </li><li>Support the development and implementation of lean principles and practices within the program. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Technical Degrees preferred) </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Product Manager or Engineering Manager </li></ul> <p>Eligibility Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability and willingness to travel frequently to both customer and internal locations </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Product Manager or Engineering Manager preferably within the aerospace or defense industry </li><li>Ability to quickly obtain relevant security clearances </li><li>Background in avionics systems integration, hardware, software development </li><li>Deep domain expertise in life cycle development for high design assurance programs as a Product Manager or Engineering </li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs from inception to completion </li><li>Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools </li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Independent, self-starter that can proactively manage a variety of external and internal stakeholders and achieve business growth </li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities </li><li>PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of lean principles and practices is highly desirable </li></ul> <p>This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
