This critical leadership role provides strategic support to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel in addressing the organization's legal and regulatory obligations. The position also offers high-level guidance to executive leadership on matters related to compliance, risk management, and privacy across all operational areas.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Leadership & Representation</p> <ul> <li>Align operations with organizational mission and strategy, representing Intealth at key functions and events. </li></ul> <p>Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Lead development and execution of the annual compliance plan. </li><li>Ensure adherence to nonprofit, federal, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OFAC). </li><li>Conduct internal audits, manage the Compliance Hotline, and liaise with governance committees. </li><li>Provide compliance training and maintain supporting resources. </li></ul> <p>Privacy</p> <ul> <li>Oversee privacy policies in alignment with GDPR and other laws. </li><li>Manage breach response, privacy training, and collaboration with information security. </li><li>Conduct privacy risk assessments and maintain confidentiality standards. </li></ul> <p>Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Conduct risk assessments and maintain the organization's risk management framework. </li><li>Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, including business continuity planning. </li><li>Deliver training and present reports to senior leadership and the Board. </li></ul> <p>Legal Counsel</p> <ul> <li>Provide legal advice on operational and employment matters. </li><li>Draft and review contracts, policies, and regulatory responses. </li><li>Support investigations and advise on legal risks across the organization. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record. </li><li>Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably as in-house counsel or within a compliance/privacy-focused legal role. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in compliance, risk management, and data privacy, with strong knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory frameworks. </li><li>Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Join us in shaping the future of global medical education at Intealth.
