<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>About the Clerk's Office</p> <p>Under general supervision, performs administrative support for the Clerk's Office. Support the functions of the Clerk's Office, including court hearings, jury selection, and monthly meetings.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with bond hearing processes, including scheduling, docket management, transport arrangements, and preparing necessary paperwork. Post hearing, handles all paperwork related to bond posting and jail releases. </li><li>Assisted with setting up grand jury sessions to include notification, setup, and breakdown for meetings. </li><li>Attend hearings and trials as needed and arrange transport for such hearings. Manage post-trial processing with sentence sheets and other court documentation. </li><li>Support the day-to-day operations of the Clerk of Court's Office, including answering phone calls, receiving daily mail, and filing court documents. </li><li>Assist with the annual Grand Jury Juror Selection process. </li></ul> <p>This position also includes an excellent benefits package:</p> <ul> <li>Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility. </li><li>Paid parental leave. </li><li>Health, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance for employees, spouses, and children. </li><li>Fifteen days of annual (vacation) leave per year. </li><li>Fifteen days of sick leave per year. </li><li>Thirteen paid holidays. </li><li>State Retirement Plan and Deferred Compensation Programs. </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A high school diploma and at least four years of experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. An equivalent combination of educational and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.</p> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Position requires frequent bending and lifting of files and items 20lbs and under. </li><li>Position may be required to travel and transport files. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of agency policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and program services. </li><li>Knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations related to specific administrative functions. </li><li>Knowledge of governmental fiscal and personnel procedures, practices, and policies. </li><li>Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment. </li><li>Ability to coordinate diverse administrative functions. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. </li><li>Ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of subordinate personnel. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively. </li></ul> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>DRUG SCREENING, CREDIT CHECK, DELINQUENT TAX CHECK, SLED BACKGROUND CHECK, AND GRIEVANCE CHECK ARE REQUIRED.</p> <p>THIS OFFICE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER.</p> <p>EEOP Utilization Report available upon request.</p>
