<p>Overview</p> <p>As an Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor to the ePlus sales process by performing troubleshooting and installation work on various computer and networking hardware, software and video conferencing, digital signage, audio-visual integration and other visual communication equipment.</p> <p>YOUR IMPACT</p> <p>The essential functions of this position include:</p> <ul> <li>Provide deployment and implementation services of multi -vendor solutions in both a Data Center and a corporate office environment </li><li>Provide on-site and remote technical support for applicable service calls </li><li>Perform advanced hardware configuration of at least one of the following: Servers, SANs, routers and switches, operating systems, video conferencing codecs, video conferencing infrastructure </li><li>Troubleshoot and perform remediation repairs; escalate to Sr. Engineers, as needed </li></ul> <p>All engineers are required to provide on-call technical support, both remotely and on-site, outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred </li><li>3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT, engineering or A/V </li><li>Work towards achieving manufacturer specific advanced certifications- i.e.: CCDP,CCSP, VCP, HP MASE HP, NASP, CCNA, CCDA, TCE1, TCE2, TSA </li><li>Excellent customer service skills both on phone and in-person </li><li>Professional demeanor and good communication skills </li><li>Ability to think and come up with solutions quickly </li><li>Must be fully knowledgeable and able to diagnose, install and repair one or more of the following technologies: </li><li>Microsoft (i.e. Office 365 Migrations, Exchange Migrations, Azure) </li><li>Networking </li><li>Storage Area Networks (SANs) </li><li>Security </li><li>Blade server technology </li><li>Virtualization </li><li>A/V hardware installations </li><li>Collaboration </li></ul> <p>POSITION SPECIFICS</p> <p>The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $26.44 and $43.27 hourly. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure includes variable pay through commissions based on individual sales performance.
