If this sounds like you, Let's Talk !</p> <p>We are seeking a Fleet Safety Coordinator to Partner with our Transportation Manager to create and develop training tools, processes, and other programs for all retail drivers to improve safety and performance. This position will be instrumental in creating and sustaining a Safety Culture.</p> <p>Essential Duties and responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct training for all drivers </li><li>Complete and submit a ride along assessment with every driver to evaluate both driving and customer services at accounts. </li><li>Remain current on driver compliance and DOT regulations. </li><li>Perform ride along road tests with insurance approved, potential drivers and report assessment to Transportation Manager. </li><li>Assist and lead the safety portion of driver meetings. </li><li>Partner with Transportation Managers to develop quarterly auto safety performance goals specific to each department. </li><li>Create routines, audits, and inspections to improve auto safety performance. </li><li>Analyze fleet safety metrics and create scorecards and reports to improve safety performance. </li><li>Review fleet safety footage to identify risk, hazards, bad driver behaviors, and root causes to prevent incidents and injuries. </li><li>Perform monthly / daily damage assessments on all Handcraft Vehicles and ensure all vehicles are equipped with necessary paperwork and equipment. </li><li>Assist Transportation Managers in developing processes and procedures to assure accountability for preventable accidents. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Samara or equivalent knowledge and Excel </li><li>Experience in fleet management </li><li>Excellent knowledge of DOT Safety Regulations </li><li>Cover routes as needed and change any schedules to cover routes </li><li>Leadership and coaching experience </li><li>Possess and Maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A </li><li>Maintain an up-to-date Medical Card </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of recent experience driving a tractor trailer </li><li>Meets all DOT requirements </li><li>Is physically able to perform the duties of this position </li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills required </li><li>Ability to speak, read and write the English language </li><li>Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead along with the ability to push and pull laundry carts which can weigh up to 400 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Career Advancement Opportunities </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Health Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Long-term Disability Insurance </li><li>Short-term Disability Insurance </li><li>Paid Training </li><li>401K with Match </li><li>Birthdays are a Paid Holiday </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>And more ! </li></ul> <p>NOTE: Please be sure to apply with an up-to-date resume, any gaps in employment should be explained.
