<p>This is Job Title: MEP Superintendent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join an exciting project at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where you will oversee and manage all day-to-day MEP job site activities, including project team performance, site conditions, safety and quality standards, compliance with scope, and effective management of trade partners.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee, manage, and document all day-to-day MEP job site activities, including OSHA safety compliance. </li><li>Direct field personnel according to the project plan. </li><li>Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager. </li><li>Report any problems promptly to the Project Manager to facilitate the most cost-effective solutions. </li><li>Establish effective working relationships with clients and team members. </li><li>Request advice and assistance from the General Superintendent on matters pertaining to materials, sequencing, scheduling, and personnel. </li><li>Identify pre-mobilization activities in conjunction with the Project Executive, General Superintendent, and the Project Manager. </li><li>Develop start-up schedule with Project Manager and send it to the Project Executive and General Superintendent for review. </li><li>Assist in formulating and implementing construction schedules in the field. </li><li>Establish and implement the Project Baseline Schedule based on the project contracts and subcontractor input. </li><li>Maintain the schedule and ensure that work performed is consistent with the contract and will meet or exceed client expectations. </li><li>Update Project Schedule monthly and provide progress report with a two-week look ahead of schedule to the Project Manager and the field staff. </li><li>Ensure that all subcontractors participate in a safety pre-construction meeting prior to starting work on the project. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, with a focus on Electrical. </li><li>Experience working on electrical upgrades, specifically Medium Voltage switch gear (4000amp). </li><li>Proficiency in scheduling, communication with subs, RFIs, change orders, and submittals. </li><li>Experience with switch gear replacement. </li><li>Project experience in commercial and infrastructure sectors. </li><li>OSHA Certification. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects. </li><li>Ability to work hand in hand with a senior MEP superintendent on site. </li><li>Preferably proficient in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. </li><li>Open to candidates with 10-20 years of experience. </li><li>Must complete 2 references prior to submission. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based on-site at the Hynes Convention Center, Monday to Friday. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a team of professionals committed to excellence. This is a full time role with full benefits. This is not a short term role or 1099 contract.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $115.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
