This position's primary responsibility is initiating payment requests and expense reimbursements for North American Ministries (NAM), Mission Aviation Services (MAS), and Facilities. Administers day-to-day financial correspondence and completes additional administrative duties as needed for the Field Finance team. Supports field sites from International Headquarters (IHQ) or on-site by processing payment requests or expense reimbursements. This potentially includes serving on disaster deployments or long-term rebuild project sites.</p> <p>A Day in the Life of a Field Finance Coordinator:</p> <p>At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotion and spend time praying for each other, our staff, and volunteers who serve around the globe.</p> <p>In the role of a Field Finance Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him </li><li>Review, approve, and process financial transactions for Samaritan's Purse field operations in the North American region as appropriate. Including invoice payment requests, field expense reports, non-employee expense reimbursements, cash advances, material service requisitions, transfers, monthly purchases, and fuel card reconciliations. </li><li>Support the Assistant Director of Finance and NAM, MAS, and Facilities leadership with financial reporting and transaction assistance. </li><li>Participate in mentoring and training of assigned field and IHQ staff to use financial systems. Travel to field sites as needed and assigned, including to cover for vacancies or staff leave or for an emergency deployment on a disaster response while maintaining other assigned job duties. </li><li>Maintain a strong knowledge of Samaritans Purse and department policies to assist NAM, MAS, and Facilities in complying with policies and procedures. </li></ul>
