They are currently seeking to add a Legal Billing Specialist to their team.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$70k - $90k</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Legal Billing Specialist responsible the billing process and performing complex billing duties. The Legal Billing Specialist will also maintain positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff at all times using discretion, tact, diplomacy, and good judgment.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner. </li><li>Contacting clients regarding delinquent bills and other outstanding issues. </li><li>Preparing and analyzing complex client billing. </li><li>Creating, editing, and processing bills. </li><li>Generating and reviewing proformas from 3E. </li><li>Utilizing computerized billing and payable software modules to complete the billing process and research and provide information to customers. </li><li>Developing training materials and delivering training. </li><li>Assisting with year-end closing and reporting as required. </li><li>Promoting effective work practices and working as a team member. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Legal Billing Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of prior billing experience in the legal industry. </li><li>Knowledge of 3E or Elite are required. </li><li>Must be able to work with a wide variety of people. </li><li>Detail oriented individual needed. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare, life and disability insurance. </li><li>A generous 401k plan. </li><li>At least 10 paid holidays per year, and a PTO program that accrues 23 days during the first year of employment and grows with tenure. </li><li>Well-being programs (e.g. mental health services, mindfulness and resiliency, medical resources, well-being events, and more). </li><li>Professional Development programs. </li></ul>
