This role includes direct patient interaction, equipment operation, assisting physicians with procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. The technologist ensures compliance with clinical protocols and fosters a compassionate patient experience while contributing to efficient clinic operations.</p> <p>Clinical Excellence & Patient Care</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using appropriate techniques and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist providers by providing accurate images and technical support during procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Educate and guide patients through ultrasound procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow sterile technique and support providers during in-office procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and coordinate ultrasound appointments to optimize patient flow.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure accurate completion and storage of imaging records and documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and use of immobilization equipment as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain proficiency with all ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.</p> </li></ul> <p>Development & Patient Education</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain awareness of clinic updates through meetings, communications, and intranet resources.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with safety and risk guidelines (CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Protect patient information and uphold confidentiality standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with clinic staff and contribute to a positive team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in initiatives to improve service quality and patient satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth clinic operations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School diploma required.</p> </li><li> <p>Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program or ARRT registered.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated clinical ultrasound experience, preferably in OB/GYN. </li></ul> <p>Licensure/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>ARDMS Registered or Registry Eligible (must obtain within a defined timeframe).</p> </li><li> <p>BLS certification required.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain ARRT or ARDMS continuing education requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license if driving for work-related purposes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in understanding and applying clinical guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Fluent in English; multicultural sensitivity.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).</p> </li><li> <p>Independent judgment and strong critical thinking.</p> </li></ul>
