<p>The Business Process Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the Dean of Faculty Office during the transition to the Workday student information system, ensuring that data integrity, business processes, and reporting needs align with the office's operational and strategic priorities. This position will work closely with the Dean of Faculty leadership team, Information Technology Services, and campus partners to map existing processes, recommend efficiencies, and implement new workflows that leverage the capabilities of Workday.</p> <p>This is a full-time, exempt, fixed term position ending on June 30, 2027, with a pay rate of $60,406 - $70,000.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Business Process Analysis & System Transition</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Dean of Faculty Office staff to analyze current business processes related to faculty records, appointments, reappointment and tenure & promotion reviews, professional development funding, and workload data. </li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between the Dean of Faculty Office and the Workday implementation team to ensure faculty-related business processes are accurately configured and tested in the new system. </li><li>Develop process maps and documentation for both current-state and future-state workflows. </li><li>Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved user experience in administrative processes. </li><li>Lead user acceptance testing for Dean of Faculty business processes within Workday, collaborating with key stakeholders to validate system functionality. </li></ul> <p>Data Integrity & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Dean of Faculty office staff and campus partners (e.g. Registrar, Business Intelligence, Institutional Research etc.) to audit, cleanse, define, and migrate data from Ellucian to Workday, ensuring data integrity and consistency. </li><li>Develop standard operating procedures for data entry, reporting, and quality assurance. </li><li>Aid in designing and maintaining faculty data reports and dashboards in Workday, including appointment status, research leave eligibility, funding utilization, and workload tracking. </li><li>Respond to ad hoc data requests from the Dean of Faculty Office and campus partners, translating business needs into actionable insights. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Training</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday functionality for the Dean of Faculty Office. </li><li>Develop training materials and deliver workshops for staff and faculty on new business processes and data management practices. </li><li>Collaborate with peer offices (Registrar, Human Resources, Finance) to ensure cross-functional alignment of faculty-related business processes. </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Establish feedback loops to assess the effectiveness of new processes and recommend refinements. </li><li>Stay current on Workday updates and new features, proactively suggesting ways the system can better serve the Dean of Faculty Office's needs. </li><li>Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing data-informed recommendations on workload trends, faculty resource allocation, and process efficiencies. </li></ul>
