<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Health and Human Performance is seeking to add to our adjunct pool to teach courses serving the Master of Athletic Training program. This is an in-person position for the 2025-2026 academic year on the Norwich University campus, located in Northfield, Vermont. Adjunct faculty teach part-time on a course-by-course basis. Assignments are dependent on pending student enrollment, program needs, and expertise of the candidate. In particular, we are seeking candidates with expertise in emergency planning or response, healthcare leadership and management, or orthopedic evaluation and rehabilitation.</p> <p>Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, student retention, and recruitment.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Masters degree (terminal academic or clinical doctorate preferred) leading to advanced practice in one of the domains of Athletic Training (Injury and illness prevention and wellness promotion; Examination Assessment, and Diagnosis; Immediate and emergency response; Therapeutic intervention; Health care administration and professional responsibility). </li><li>Athletic training faculty must be certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers, have a National Provider Identification (NPI) number, and possess Vermont state licensure as an Athletic Trainer at time of employment. </li><li>3 years of clinical experience in the field of Athletic Training </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Norwich University is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a positive education and work environment that recognizes and respects the dignity of all students, faculty and staff.
