<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Quality Technician will execute Quality Monitoring Scheme routines across all manufacturing processes, including batching, processing, filling, and packaging. This role involves conducting physical and chemical testing of raw batches, finished products, and any other testing as defined by the Quality Monitoring Scheme. Additionally, the technician will carry out postproduction testing, including microbiological testing on quarantine samples.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Execute pre-operation routines, which include sanitation approval for equipment and environment, and compliance against product change-over requirements. </li><li>Execute CIP validation utilizing allergen swabs. </li><li>Coordinate collection and storage of finished product samples during manufacturing operations. </li><li>Execute hold routines, including creating events for nonconforming ingredients, packaging material, raw batches, and finished products. </li><li>Review and approve food safety and quality records created throughout the shift. </li><li>Verify Pre-Requisite records and Programs. </li><li>Contribute towards root cause analysis and customer complaint investigations. </li><li>Maintain and improve FSQ documentation practices. </li><li>Scan and file records as needed. </li><li>Maintain organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of the FSQ Lab area. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walterboro, SC.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
