Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Review demographics, insurance, and provider information, and update records accordingly. </li><li>Instruct new patients to complete all required paperwork and create new accounts in the computer system. </li><li>Obtain a copy of the patient's insurance card and driver's license. </li><li>Update the electronic medical record system (EMR) and take patients' photos. </li><li>Provide the patient with the SOFHA payment and privacy policy. </li><li>Answer patient questions and concerns. </li><li>Schedule/Reschedule patient appointments. </li><li>Collect payment and notate on the patient encounter form. </li><li>Route telephone calls and record/deliver messages accordingly. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of grammar, punctuation and sentence structure are required.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Previous experience in a medical office or customer service position is desirable.
