Job Description Summary</p> <ul> <li>Provide one-on-one academic tutoring to teach and reteach concepts to H.E.L.P. students </li><li>Offer assistance with developing study strategies </li><li>Work with students to develop a plan that fits the student's individual needs </li><li>Assist students in developing a schedule for study sessions </li><li>Clarify/augment student notes from lecture </li><li>Teach concepts using multi-sensory techniques to maximize student understanding and recall </li><li>Teach organization and time managements skills </li><li>Monitor students' progress through communication with students and professors </li><li>Send legal notification to professors regarding students' with disabilities and accommodations </li><li>Organize and facilitate testing accommodations according to students' diagnosis for compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act and Vocational Rehabilitation Act </li><li>Proctor exams under the supervision of staff monitor </li><li>Maintain student attendance records </li><li>Notify students and parents regarding students' absences from tutoring sessions </li><li>Write End of Semester Reports for each student </li><li>Participate in weekly tutor training and development sessions </li></ul> <p>Department H.E.L.P.
