If you're looking to advance your career with one of the nation's top health systems, we invite you to join us.</p> <p>As the Senior Clinical Laboratory Science Specialist for Point of Care Testing (POCT), you will provide leadership and technical expertise for the Ronald Reagan Clinical Laboratory Point of Care Point of Care program within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Primary duties include providing leadership, support, and expertise on POCT, including coordination of quality control and proficiency activities, performing training and competency on testing personnel, validation of new analyzers and tests, and writing policies and procedures.</p> <p>Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour.</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. </li><li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>A minimum of four years of clinical laboratory scientist experience. </li><li>Proven experience in training and lecturing. </li><li>Experience writing procedures and reports. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting. </li><li>Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation. </li><li>Experience in Point of Care Testing, high preferred. </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
