<ul> <li>Perform daily shop inspections and preventative maintenance </li><li>Exposure to metal fabrication, welding (stick, MIG & TIG) </li><li>Ability to weld aluminum and steel </li><li>Performs all tasks in a safe manner </li><li>Comply with safety rules and company policies </li><li>Set-Up and get molds ready to ensure consistent quality, output, and yield </li><li>Complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork </li><li>Complete/participate in any and all PPS activities as directed by Supervisors </li><li>Communicate effectively with production team members, Team Leaders, Engineers, and Inspectors to ensure quality installation of molds </li><li>Troubleshoot issues with the molds </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance on injection mold tooling and prior to mold changes </li><li>Troubleshoot any problems involved with mold changes </li><li>Remove and install Hot Runner Service </li><li>Support Engineers with tool design reviews on new builds </li><li>Ability to determine feasibilities of engineering change during design reviews </li><li>3-5 Years of Tool and Die troubleshooting experience required. </li><li>Must have experience with set-up and operation of milling machines, grinders, saws, lathes and other tool room equipment. </li><li>Must be able to perform calculations such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. </li><li>Candidates must be able to read blueprints, create sketches for engineering, and fabricate machines components from drawing and samples. </li><li>Plastics mold repair is a PLUS to have. </li><li>Basic Tig welding experience. </li><li>Occasional overtime will be required. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned as necessary. </li><li>Authorities </li><li>Authorized to stop production/work when encountering unsafe conditions </li><li>Authorized to retrieve work orders </li><li>Authorized to recommend repair methods, spare parts, tools and equipment to supervisor and managers </li></ul> <p>Contacts</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance Manager/Supervisor - Direction for Daily activities </li><li>Production team members - support and trouble shooting </li><li>Launch Management - planning and installation </li></ul> <p>Tools, Software, Equipment</p> <ul> <li>SAP </li><li>Microsoft Excel </li></ul> <p>Physical and Working Environment</p> <ul> <li>May be required to stand long periods of time. </li><li>Working environment is manufacturing, can include high temperature and humidity at times </li><li>Overtime is frequent. </li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as needed. </li></ul> <p>Educational/Training Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED; 5 years or more of Tool & Die Maintenance Experience </li></ul>
