<p>The following position is to serve as a Systems Specialist as part of DENSO's North America Production Control Engineering (NAPCE) department. NAPCE serves DENSO's North America Group Companies in support of Production Control & Logistics operations and systems.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <p>Process Improvement & Training</p> <ul> <li>Oversee operations analysis to identify areas where the user and/or system can be improved. Identify best practices for standard jobs in North America with a focus to strengthen weak areas. </li><li>Identify training opportunities and system improvements required to share the best practice across DENSO North American plants. </li><li>Create and maintain user documentation (e.g. user manuals, training documents, etc.) for North America Production Control and Logistics operations and systems. </li><li>Conduct user training to improve user knowledge and maximize the users' ability to effectively use the systems and processes. </li></ul> <p>System Design</p> <ul> <li>Study user jobs within DENSO MRP system, gather user requirements and create detailed user specifications that will be used by Information Systems (IS). </li><li>Develop detailed test plans and compete testing to confirm IS development was correct, report and problem solve any issues. </li><li>Work with all North America DENSO Plants on implementations to prevent impact. </li><li>Manage all customer requirements for shipping to our TIER 1 customers. Ensure EDI Loading, Customer labels, Master labels and ASN's are in specification. If a customer requires change, utilize new specifications and work with IT to develop. </li></ul> <p>Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Create project schedules, test plans, system testing, user training, user manuals, and problem reporting for project team and management. This activity can range from large projects that have multi-department project teams to smaller projects that are completely self-directed. </li></ul> <p>Problem Solving</p> <ul> <li>Oversee Helpdesk type support for system issues related to user understanding.
