<p>The primary responsibility of this position is to support the invoicing and transportation for export shipments in accordance with Client work instructions.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>The primary responsibility of this position is to create export shipments in accordance with Client work instructions. </li><li>Scheduling air and ocean pick up requests with trucking companies and freight forwarders to ensure flow of goods from origin to point of export. </li><li>Identifying and resolving issues arising during the shipping process </li><li>Completing post shipment tasks: such as emailing pre-alerts to Clients, scanning photos, creating ITNs for tracking purposes, and updating system with shipment details </li><li>Responding to customer service requests via email and phone </li><li>Creating month end reports </li><li>Shipping International Hazmat </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree and 1+ year work experience in a distribution environment or High School diploma (or GED) and 3 + years' work experience in logistics </li><li>Exceptional communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Computer, and Microsoft Office Applications.
