<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>What is the opportunity?</p> <p>You will be joining a team of 4 accomplished professionals within the Salon Magura Private Wealth Group. A successful Associate Financial Advisor in this role needs to have an interest of the financial markets, be able to build meaningful relationships, assist with portfolio construction and maintenance and contribute to the overall success of the advisor team. A successful Associate Financial Advisor will also have an entrepreneurial and growth mindset.</p> <p>Salon Magura Private Wealth Group - RBC Wealth Management - Home</p> <p>What will you do?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Study for and obtain the Associate Financial Advisor program's required licensing</p> </li><li> <p>Study and pass series 7 exam.</p> </li><li> <p>Study and pass series 66 and life and health insurance exams.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete Associate Financial Advisor program assignments within the curriculum's timelines</p> </li><li> <p>RBC tools and technology introduction</p> </li><li> <p>RBC policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Products and services-including scenarios and case studies</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Planning, marketing, prospecting, and servicing</p> </li><li> <p>Report activities and results per the Associate Financial Advisor program's requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Implement specific coaching from the Associate Financial Advisor sales manager</p> </li><li> <p>Become familiar with RBC Wealth Management</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain awareness of financial news via company-approved online sites, meetings and various news media to support and advance professional development toward becoming a RBC Financial Advisor</p> </li><li> <p>Be knowledgeable and comply with all regulations and rules of various regulatory agencies and company policies</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all RBC WM new employee orientation online modules and others as required</p> </li></ul> <p>What do you need to succeed?</p> <p>Must-have</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>Ability to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 180 days of beginning employment at RBC </li><li>Ability to take initiative and function independently </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills </li><li>Strong drive and dedication </li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop and promote business; a track record of success Ability to make solid decisions in a fast paced, quick turnaround environment </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-have</p> <ul> <li>Entrepreneurial experience </li><li>2-3 years working experience within the Financial Industry </li><li>Active in a community, athletic or business group </li><li>Fundraising experience </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you?</p> <p>We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
