A Thompson restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes.</p> <ul> <li>Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner </li><li>Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials </li><li>Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system </li><li>Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner </li><li>Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service </li><li>Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations </li><li>Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times </li><li>Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions </li><li>Properly and accurately close guest checks </li><li>Process cash and credit card payments </li><li>Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations </li><li>Set tables according to type of event and service standards. </li><li>Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. </li><li>Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc </li><li>Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards </li><li>All other duties as assigned by leadership </li></ul>
