We accelerate the growth of more impactful work and the evolution of Slalom.</p> <p>Role: Process and Operational Improvement Senior Consultant</p> <p>We seek a dynamic Process and Operational Improvement Senior Consultant with expertise in process mining and continuous improvement. Help our clients harness the power of data and streamline their operations, ultimately contributing to their success and growth.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Conduct assessments of operations, workflows, and systems to identify improvement opportunities using lean, Six Sigma, and Agile principles </li><li>leverage process mining tools (e.g. Celonis, Signavio, ARIS), and tasks capture tools to transform and analyze complex data, discover inefficiencies, and build actionable process models </li><li>Perform root cause analyses on performance issues, rework, and SLA breaches using event logs and structured process diagnostics </li><li>Develop and maintain detailed business cases, process improvement roadmaps, and governance frameworks for initiatives spanning business functions </li><li>Lead and support the deployment, scaling, and governance of process mining across business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals focused on return on investment </li><li>Provide consulting support on associated automation platforms including UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Co-Pilot Studio, and AIMS++ </li><li>Facilitate process discovery workshops, working groups, and data walkthroughs with stakeholders to align on challenges and opportunities </li><li>Act as a change agent and capability builder: provide training and mentorship to business unit teams and continuous improvement (CI) practitioners </li><li>Create reusable methodologies, templates, and toolkits that enable repeatable success and scale process intelligence capability </li><li>Build dashboards and reports that synthesize key insights using Celonis PQL, SQL, Python, and ETL tools to track KPIs, cycle times, compliance, and automation impacts. </li><li>Stay current on industry trends, process intelligence innovations, and AI-enabled analytics to bring thought leadership to clients and peers </li><li>Process Mining Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools such as Celonis, ARIS Process Mining, and Signavio-including event log management, process visualization, variant exploration, and KPI configuration </li><li>Data Engineering and Analytics: Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in SQL, PQL (Process Query Language), Python, XML, and ETL tools </li><li>Data Extraction: Experience building data connections, building API's and extracting data from source systems like SAP, Oracle, SalesForce, ServiceNow </li><li>Workflow & Automation Ecosystem: Familiarity with automation technologies such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, AIMS++, and Co-Pilot Studio </li><li>Methodologies: Lean Six Sigma familiarity, Agile delivery frameworks, and process discovery techniques </li><li>Visualization & Reporting: Strong dashboarding and reporting skills using process mining native tools and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) </li><li>Process knowledge: Understanding of core financial processes P2P, L2C, AP, AR, and other processes such as Call Center, ITSM, preferred </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in operational improvement, business consulting, or transformation, ideally in mid- to large-scale enterprise settings </li><li>Demonstrated success in identifying and delivering measurable process improvements </li><li>Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels-from frontline to executive </li><li>Ability to lead complex, data-driven initiatives with a clear understanding of change management dynamics </li></ul> <p>About Slalom</p> <p>Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company. The targeted base salary pay range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
