The Director, Revenue is experienced in the healthcare and/or dental care industry with a data-driven focus to provide strategic insight as part of the growing Strategy and Analytics team. The role excels at turning complex data into actionable insights that drives revenue growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The Director plays a key role in analyzing financial performance, clinical behavior, pricing trends, and service mix to uncover business opportunities and support leadership with data-driven recommendations. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic initiatives for analyzing clinical behavior impact and market trends to provide data-driven insight and recommendations to offices. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, outliers, and patterns that influence revenue performance across healthcare and dental care services. Create reports and dashboards that track business metrics such as patient volume, procedure mix, payer trends, and geographic performance. Conduct root-cause analysis of revenue changes and contribute to initiatives focused on market expansion, pricing strategy, and service optimization. Develop financial models to support forecasting, pricing decisions, and strategic planning. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Clinical leadership to support data needs and provide strategic insights to promote growth. Research and evaluate market dynamics, competitor performance, and payer trends to inform business strategy and revenue planning. Present findings and actionable insights to leadership through clear visuals, executive summaries, and data storytelling. Lead process improvement continuously refining reporting tools and processes to improve data accuracy, speed, and impact contributing to recommendations for individual office revenue growth. Prepare and manage budget and expenditures, and identify budget needs, reductions, and allocate funds. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Health Administration, or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience. 10+ years of professional experience in data or financial analysis role. 6+ years of leadership experience. Preferred Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Health Administration or related field of study from an accredited college or university. Experience in healthcare, dental, medical, or health-tech industry. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to stay current of industry trends and recommend innovative ways to forecast and drive revenue growth. Demonstrated advanced analytical skills with experience synthesizing large datasets to drive strategic recommendations. Proficiency with analytical tools such as advanced Excel, SQL, PowerBI, or similar platforms. Familiarity with healthcare datasets such as patient encounter data, procedure codes (ICD, CPT, CDT), claims data, or EHR/EMR outputs. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and data storytelling skills. Ability to bridge the gap between data and business impact. Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and an interest in solving real-world business problems through data. Advanced experience tracking key industry performance metrics and target setting. Ability to provide leadership through motivation, coaching, mentoring, training, feedback, recognition and growth opportunities. Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities to understand and process complex information, interpret data and use data to make sound decisions.
