<p>What to Expect</p> <p>The ideal candidate has experience with facilities operations, heavy equipment operation, and site maintenance.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Champion and observe all safety policies </li><li>Support of grading, minor pothole repairs, winter weather response, dust control, road sweeping, and general site clean up </li><li>Recommend improvement projects for gravel areas, winter weather, dust control and road sweeping </li><li>Complete training in the use of heavy equipment and site maintenance </li><li>Complete preventative site maintenance of equipment </li><li>Able to respond to factory off hours during inclement weather or any other deemed emergency </li><li>Work directly with Facilities Ground Lead to understand scope and execution of work detail </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Experience in groundskeeping, heavy equipment operation, vehicle maintenance, and familiarity with schematics and site plans </li><li>Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and ability to adapt to varying work schedules and fast-paced environments </li><li>Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information </li><li>Multitasking ability, adaptability to change, and wearing required PPE for tasks involving hazardous areas and chemicals </li><li>Physical capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, lift up 20 lbs., and work in loud environments; discern audible alarms </li><li>Possession of a valid state driver's license, with expertise in operating various heavy, medium, and light equipment and street-related specialized equipment, including training others </li><li>Availability for on-call after-hours work, displaying knowledge of general maintenance, construction, tools, and equipment </li></ul> <p>Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
