We have several opportunities available to work with various business units involved in claims operations and support functions. This is a paid internship and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week during the summer months.</p> <p>Our internship is designed for individuals who have completed at least their freshman year from an accredited college/university and will be continuing their undergraduate studies in the Fall.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Responsibilities will vary based on the business unit assigned but may include:</p> <ul> <li>Assists team in working within our claims management system and other applications to resolve administrative and technical issues or assist with clerical tasks </li><li>Assists with review of vendor invoicing </li><li>Makes use of our internal reporting tools to produce reports upon request </li><li>Assists with review, maintenance and enhancement of team procedural documentation for claims financial workflows </li><li>Collaborates with other departments on assigned projects as needed </li><li>Assists with reconciliation of recurring reports related to our contact management and claims applications </li><li>Creates concise written and visual reports </li><li>Reviews and evaluates performance metrics, trends or other data analytics as needed </li><li>May be called upon to handle other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college/university </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li>Attention to detail and ability to prioritize </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer systems </li><li>Flexible and willing to learn how to use a variety of computer programs </li></ul> <p>Amica conducts background checks which includes a review of criminal, educational, employment and social media histories, and if the role involves use of a company vehicle, a motor vehicle or driving history report.
