<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Back of House (BOH) Food Service Professional ensures high-quality food preparation, safety, and kitchen execution that upholds Chick-fil-A's culinary standards. This individual plays a crucial role behind the scenes, preparing ingredients, cooking products to exact specifications, and supporting seamless food production during peak hours.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, efficiency, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Food Preparation & Cooking</p> <ul> <li>Prepare ingredients to Chick-fil-A standards </li><li>Cook chicken, fries, and other menu items consistently and accurately </li><li>Follow strict food safety and temperature control procedures </li><li>Maintain speed, accuracy, and quality during high-volume periods </li></ul> <p>Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment </li><li>Rotate inventory and ensure proper labeling, storage, and waste management </li><li>Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists </li></ul> <p>Safety & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to Chick-fil-A's food safety and HACCP guidelines </li><li>Monitor product quality, freshness, and recipe specifications </li><li>Complete temperature logs, station checklists, and product tracking </li></ul> <p>Team Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Support other team members to maintain smooth kitchen flow </li><li>Communicate effectively during rush periods and shift transitions </li><li>Work with FOH to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Profile</p> <p>The ideal BOH Food Service Professional is dependable, focused, and committed to culinary excellence. They thrive in a structured, fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in producing high-quality food.</p> <p>This individual is disciplined, detail-oriented, and maintains a calm, positive attitude under pressure. They value teamwork, consistency, and cleanliness.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in food service, kitchen operations, or culinary preparation </li><li>Weekend availablity required </li><li>Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation </li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen </li><li>Reliable, punctual, and organized </li><li>Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stand for long periods </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in high-volume, fast-casual, or quick-service restaurants </li><li>Exposure to structured food preparation systems or stations </li><li>Food Safety Certification (plus, not required) </li><li>Bilingual Spanish (plus, not required) </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
