<p>Summary of Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>The Solutions Engineer I is an entry-level technical role that supports the design, development, and implementation of ERP solutions. Under guidance, this role assists in analyzing business requirements, customizing ERP features, and providing technical support. The position offers an opportunity to grow into a subject matter expert while contributing to the efficiency and scalability of ERP platforms.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>ERP Development and Customization</p> <ul> <li>Assist in developing custom ERP modules, workflows, and Integrations. </li><li>Modify scripts and reports based on business needs under supervision. </li><li>Support integration efforts with third-party tools and applications. </li></ul> <p>System Analysis and Troubleshooting</p> <ul> <li>Document user issues and assist in debugging system problems. </li><li>Participate in testing and quality assurance processes. </li><li>Help maintain ERP system performance. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration and Requirements Gathering</p> <ul> <li>Attend meetings with business units to gather functional requirements. </li><li>Collaborate with senior engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. </li><li>Provide first-level support during ERP implementations. </li></ul> <p>Documentation and Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Assist with maintaining documentation for system changes and updates. </li><li>Help ensure configurations adhere to internal compliance standards. </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Stay up to date on ERP product features and upgrades. </li><li>Recommend small process improvements or automation opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with ERP platforms and basic database concepts. </li><li>Basic programming skills (SQL, JavaScript, or C# preferred). </li><li>Good communication and time-management skills. </li><li>Willingness to learn and take initiative in problem-solving. </li><li>Ability to follow technical instructions and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Team Support/Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Take part in team meetings and sprint planning sessions. </li><li>Learn from senior engineers and ask questions to build technical expertise. </li><li>Provide peer support when possible and document learnings for team use. </li><li>Performs other related duties as directed. </li></ul> <p>Education or Prior Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field. </li></ul> <p>Reports to</p> <p>Manager, Technical Services</p> <p>Number Supervised</p> <p>0</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Some travel possible, but not extensive.</p> <p>Classification</p> <p>Exempt</p> <p>Work Enviroment</p> <p>This job operates in a professional office environment.
