Enjoy support for your personal growth within the organization, from those just starting their healthcare careers to those who are years down the path. </li></ul> <p>Be part of something extraordinary at Nebraska Medicine!</p> <p>Provide and coordinate oral interpretation and written translation services for patients, families, customers, and staff of the clinical enterprise.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two years' experience with language translation in both verbal and written communication required. </li><li>High school education or equivalent required. </li><li>Prior experience in a health care setting required. </li><li>Completion of an approved Medical Interpreter Training Course within 60 days of hire or transfer date required (Training provided within the department onboarding process). </li><li>Fluency in both verbal and written communication of the English and Spanish languages as well as familiarity with target cultures and customs required. </li><li>Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent tasks required. </li><li>Proficiency with computer programs for Microsoft Word, Excel, and Spanish Word required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in languages, health care, or related field is preferred. </li><li>Previous completion of an approved Medical Interpreter training course preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of and experience with Propio One (telephone service), statistical databases, and video relay interpretation equipment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Nebraska Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
